How so? AA normally doesn't run a December class, but this year they are.

2017 november and December classes weren't... unfortunately, I don't think any of can bank on anything right now.

I chuckled when I read that too. PDT can barely train a pilot in under a year and they’re going to take the 175’s? Envoy has had no problem filling classes due to SJS and getting people trained.

I never said I thought it would work, nor did I come up with that idea. But their was an urgent meeting in DC to try and put out their dumpster fire (in late ‘17/early ‘18) and that idea was thrown out there.

Like higher ups grasping at ENY merge straws for PDT, they also grasped at 175 straws for ENY. Then reality struck, or sense was talked into them, and they scrapped it.

Wasn't PDT the last of the WO's to raise the pay rates and bonuses in 2016? We were struggling to fill classes at that time and then the pay raises fixed that. We may be seeing a repeat of that soon.
