None of this is particularly unique to Piedmont. The issue is will American throw money at Piedmont to keep the 50 seat lift when Envoy and PSA and Mesa and Republic and Skywest are all bleeding and asking for $$ too.
Yea I know. I read your comment right above his saying essentially the same thing. He's in denial if he thinks PDT isn't in the worst spot of all three WO's.

Although (as opposed to unaffiliated 50 seat carriers) it does have somethings going for it.

AA is unlikely to totally abandon a chunk of pilots even if Piedmont shuts down. Very likely that such a scenario would involve good options at both Envoy and mainline

The last townhall it was stated as has been rumor for months that if we can staff more then AA will transfer more 145’s over.

I interviewed about 3 weeks ago and was given class dates as early as December. I selected January 31, because that was the latest class date they offered me and I still have quite a bit of flying to do before I start school (I interviewed at 1300 TT)

Until AA chops you off like they are with all of the non-wholly owned. That and Mesas been the bottom performer for the Eagle name for a long time, and by a lot. And Mesas pay sucks.

Anyways, donpablo108, tell me more of this @sweeneysiren?!? Sounds like a real story.
