I have spoken to two buddies of mine who are at Legacies right now who regret leaving Piedmont after seeing this. They realize Piedmont is very well run and has a great pilot group and that sticking around until flow would not have been so bad. These are truly great times and I am happy for my PDT breathren.
Whatever y’all on is some good stuff. Money isn’t everything when it’s still the same poorly run Piedmont. Lipstick on a pig to a whole new leve

My buddy at PDT who I flew with called me and we talked about the deal. He got a little emotional on the phone telling me about how much the extra money will help him since the cost of everything has gone up so much this year. You could hear him choking up a bit, so I was happy to hear it'll help him. Many PDT pilots will be out-earning Legacy FOs now. Again, very happy for you all.

thats almost $100/hour more than a 787 CA at AA. Work rules at AA are probably much worse than Eagle. Pretty soon nobody is going to want to flow to mainline. AA is a total dumpster fire. My advice, take the bonus for flowing to AA then bail asap.

Dont assume mainline is any better or you will be sorely disappointed. AA ops are an absolute clown show. But instead of believing some random person on the net go ask 20 random AA pilots over the next few months.

I'm wondering, how many of those 20 random AA pilots never did any GA or Regional flying? Perspective has alot to do with your current level of satisfaction. Many legacy pilots went straight to their seat at mainline never having experienced GA or Regional flying.

Better off staying at Piedmont and flying your typical line making good money then reevnenting the wheel somewhere else.

$$$$
Where are guys pulling the $400k LCA pay rates from? I don’t see anything updating the $175/day override. That’s roughly an extra $44/hr. For a 5yr+ CA wanting to flow that’s about $258/hr. Still amazing, but am I missing something?
