Nope. That is why the SAP is different from what others have.

For instance, if every single FO line holder in the company decides to not work Christmas, we can all SAP Christmas off. (That actually happened...)

Could you ever get rid of line bidding and bring in PBS while keeping SAP?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to have a SAP period alongside PBS.

Now will that ever happen, doubtful. (in my opinion)

There's at least two carriers that are doing this now: Horizon and Republic.

It looks like I may have been mistaken about Horizon, but they're voting on a new CBA now and I have no idea what's in it.

As for Republic, it's in their CBA.

But Republic's is dependent on reserve grids and other factors. It is nothing like our SAP.

It's not only dependent on reserve coverage, but also you can't drop a holiday and you can only drop to guarantee. It wouldn't go over well here.

Last guy I talked to that worked there said it's in their contract but not implemented. The computer company is having trouble building a system that does PBS and SAP trip trades like PSA has. PSA shouldn't even consider talking about PSA until those guys report back that it works as advertised.
