People have been S*Ping to 65 since I got hired 3 years ago. It's nothing new.

Everyone knows how to S*P to 65. The only thing the new people need help with is to do it efficiently to get 18 or 19 days off, instead of just 15 or 16.
Yep! I have done the 65 and 19 off and this month I'm currently trying to max out. Next month I'll go back down to my 70/75 average.

I do it based on what crap I have going on and if I feel like making extra money or time offf. I base my living expenses off 75 hours a month. So to me anything else is just savings. Everyone is different. I value QOL over 100+ credit hours.

Best idea is to trade 2 of yours for 1 in the pot. If you want another one, just add it.

If you want to trade 2 of your trips for 1 in the pot, you will not get that message. You only get it if you are trading multiple trips for multiple trips.
Thanks for the tips. Its exactly the type of information I was looking for. Could'nt find some FLICA related stuff on the SAP guide or in the contract. I appreciate everyone's suggestions. Hoping to build a minimum 75 hour schedule that's commutable with a few more than 11 days off if possible. Want to have a certain week off in January and needed some clarification on some of the rules so thanks to everyone who was helpful.

Plus, I think a lot of pilots (including me) have another job back home or have something on the side. I don't make quite as much per day at my second job compared to PSA, but for what PSA is paying it's just not worth flying more than I have to and being gone for 4 days in a row. I might make a little less back home, BUT Im home EVERY night. I S*P to 65 and if there's something decent for critical I'll pick it up. If not...65 is where I'll stay. SDO pay isn't even worth it, since our crappy min day rules apply.
If we had Endeavor rates I still wouldn't fly my ass off, but I would definitely be flying more than I do now. There will always be pilots that fly as little as possible no matter how much they make, but I'd be willing to bet that some decent pay rates would help staffing just because more pilots would be willing to fly more than what they're currently doing.

Hmm, interesting...

That also means everything else will get rolled a few days.

or...Just a typo.

It doesn't show up on FLICA until the day before. The date listed is incorrect, but it showed up at the correct time. I wouldn't be too concerned about it until 12:01pm Standard Ohio Time tomorrow.

Can we not have our "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!" time?

Hopefully it is just a typo. I need something to do during my 3hr sits this weekend! Lol

I'm really hoping it's nothing more than a typo. I don't care if R1 is delayed as long as SAP opens as scheduled.

It has already been changed to Dec 8. Just a typo. Relax everyone.

Default Carry In Days

I’m an R1 lineholder and want to bid on a Jan line with CI the first four days. I’ve never bid a CI line but I understand they may convert it to flying when the award comes out. Is that flying able to be swapped during SAP if I need a day off during the first four days?
