Scheduling & SAP - Schedule Adjustment Period
#301
Good lord people... The dude asked a simple question. The only thing the MEC and Company do not want you to do is actively tell people to "do XYZ to make the company hurt".
Answering questions on how to SAP is not an active collective attempt to hurt the company. The company has even said to SAP to our hearts content in the last various emails. They freaking teach you the basics of SAP during the interview Q&A.
Everyone around here is thinking that even saying the word SAP will bring down fire and brimstone...

You don't obtain contract literacy by asking questions on APC. You pick up the document and read it. You don't help others with contract literacy by holding their hold and giving them all the answers, you encourage them to read and study the legal document and/or go to their union reps and committees.
Sitting hot reserve? Pull out the CBA and read it about five times cover to cover and you will be better off. If everyone did that, imagine where the pilot group would be?

He explained exactly how to drop down to 65. When to many people do that, it creates major staffing issues for the company. The SAP is going to get restricted, it's only a matter of time. If you keep selling the SAP to 65 agenda, it will only get worse. I feel bad for the quiet minority that relay on a 65 hour schedule and don't go around bragging about their days off/credit and telling everyone how to do it.
Everyone knows how to S*P to 65. The only thing the new people need help with is to do it efficiently to get 18 or 19 days off, instead of just 15 or 16.
