In SAP no one has to pick up the trip you're trying to trade. It will go into opentime. Have you tried a two for one SAP trade? (Making sure that your monthly credit still stays above 65 hrs.)

It was a wild ride for the first SAP, but even with a little hiccup on the program with Flica thinking Dec 31st was Jan 1st, with the help of our MEC scheduling and PSA Crew scheduling, it was resolved. Got the hang of it and worked out most issues for the month. Didn't get to take advantage of the holiday pay but family came first this time. The SAP saved us . . . . Thanks for all the suggestions.

I'm bidding in round 2 and will almost assuredly get a SCR schedule. I "need" the 30th and preferably 31st off (I could be back in base for an 1100 SCR). Of course, I'll bid the schedules with those days off first. If my awarded reserve block starts on the 30th can I swap off of the 30th without also swapping the 31st (assuming that the 31st won't be green), or is leaving a single day disallowed?
Any help before the bid closes is appreciated.

Would someone mind explaining the consolidation timeline, requirements, and consequences if it's not completed? Or, at least point me to where to find that info. I've got to poke around in the contract anyway, so I may stumble across it on my own.

It looks like this thing called PBS is coming to PSA possibly from the threads I've read. As I continue to read about it, I'm not impressed. Is there something I'm missing? Is this the first step to removing SAP?
Many of us have looks hardest at PSA because SAP was so very impressive. If they goes, out really does impact the decision making process.

well, first you should fire tapatalk. second. the MEC was pretty clear on his conference call that any change to the bidding system would have to include SAP. Now is when everyone jumps on me and says PBS would leave little to no open time...correct. But the plan as i understand it is to withhold some predetermined amount of pairings so that there are option in the SAP.

So, maybe they'd have it build some fake schedules and just dump those trips in open time? I guess that along with the ability to drop trips/days without adding during the SAP could be enough to make it work. Even then, people won't have as much to choose from to pick up for 125%+.
