Anyone know if recruiting is backed up? Interviewed last week at the DFW event. We were all told since it’s off-site they couldn’t do on the spot offers and that we’d hear back end of last week or early this week. So far getting radio silence from the recruiters. Any gouge on that process?

For real this time (not the base, but tower/approach control).

If you haven't heard something, let me know and I will make sure that someone follows up ASAP.

Most all classes for the year are completely full and I know there are some discussions with training to see how many we can fit into each class (hoping for more).

Hello PSA Recruiter,

Not OP but had a question. I applied to PSA in May and wasn't selected for an interview. While I have a couple offers from some other companies, PSA was still my first choice and I would like to try applying again six months after my last attempt. Can you give any insight on what recruiting is looking for when they look at apps? I don't have any checkride failures. I was wondering if getting my MEI would help. Also is there any chance they can give me a fresh look before the 6 month period is over or do I just need to wait?

Thanks.

Send me a PM and I will take a look.

You could argue its less scary for them to flow, lean a new type, new SOPs, go through more jeopardy events, be on probation, and be supervised by a CA again. Definitely not fair though.

Thank you very much for the follow up. I did end up hearing back and was able to make a decision based on class availability vs other offers.

What are the minimum requirements to get accepted into the cadet program? I’m a CFI and soon to be CFII. I’m about to apply to work at a school that is listed as a partner with PSA and supports the cadet program. The only thing I’m a bit worried about is I do have 2 checkride failures. The PSA Cadet page doesn’t mention anything about it, but I’m wondering if that would prevent me from being accepted into the program.
