With new bases, when do they usually open the bids?
Is it common to get displaced from your current base to staff the new ones?

They will have base bids open probably within a week. I seriously doubt anyone will be displaced. We have plenty of PHL and ORF guys who were patiently waiting for this. Plus, the initial numbers are not big (60 in PHL and 40 in ORF).

They'll probably end up sending some new hires to those bases if nobody wants them, but there are those who wanted those bases. People should worry more about losing lines in some bases. For example, Dayton and Knoxville guys do a lot of PHL flying. When I was in Dayton, I could go a couple of trips without seeing CLT.

What do you guys think, will ORF go senior or junior on CA side? The wife and I were looking at a move down that way anyway. I'm an Oct '16 hire.

That's what the announcement on the company website said.

Bid what you want and don’t overthink it. Even if you’re the last guy on the CA list driving to work is great QOL.

I am showing a different number of pilots on property with my seniority list on FLICA. Is there an error on the company seniority list?

Thank you for doing these. It is very helpful.
BTW, just looking more into this it seems numbering on company seniority list is incorrect. There are several numbers that are omitted. I presume they don't fix the numbering as they remove pilots who leave. However, the numbers that are put out on the chart are correct to the effect they count actual number of people on seniority list.

I've rarely done PHL turns in CLT trips, so how is the company transferring flying from CLT to PHL? As far as I know, they're done by DAY, CVG, TYS crews. Just curious....
