How long is the entire upgrade process from first day of class to finish IOE?

Figured as much... I've done two AQP checkrides since my initial and felt like it was essentially the same process. Other than the fact that if you "Incomplete" on the stuff you don't get to regularly practice (i.e., V1 cuts, EGPWS, etc.) it's just retraining and not a straight-up hooked checkride on your record, it's the same concept. I mean, you only have enough time to repeat like two or three items before you would run out of time (I know from experience; my first CA incompleted in 2017).

My question, though, was more to find out when it starts and what the new syllabus would be, as far as location and breakdown of training.

Is the ground training still going to be in Dayton?

Are the Sims only 200 or both 2/7-9 now?

Are the Sims in CVG AND CLT or one or the other?

I just want to know what to expect, and tailor my preparation for that.

I was told by a CA that just recently completed that the Ground/Sim Qual took like 3-3.5 weeks, and the IOE portion took more than a month, mostly due to scheduling inefficiencies. His was REALLY dragged out, so I don't know what the normal timeline for IOE would be.

Well, that's kinda what I said I thought ? Anyhow, yea - you need to know all three airframes forwards and backwards as well as the FOM, POH, Bulletins, MELs, etc, etc its a Captain Upgrade.

Ground Dayton. Sims - wherever they have space. I was 200 initial and differences on 7/9. Just under a month and half total for me. Two trips on 7/9 (one 2 day and one 3 day) and one on the Deuce (one 2 day trip)
