PSA Rapid Upgrade?

You have to meet or at least be close to the normal upgrade requirements of 1000 hours of 121 time, or there’s certain 135 and 91k requirements that will also count. Although, I’m not exactly sure what meets those stipulations. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Keep in mind these are just one time bonuses. You can go to Endeavor or Republic and make close to the same or even slightly more as a FIRST OFFICER during your first year. Some of their first officers are making close to 100k if they’re willing to work. You wont make near that at PSA even if you upgrade and count the bonus. And After your first year you will make (Trump voice) billions and billions and billions and billions more elsewhere. No, but seriously after your first year endeavor and republic are in a totally differently league. Also, if you take the quick upgrade you will be on reserve for at least 3-4 years here and you will have a miserable quality of life. You can go almost anywhere else and still upgrade in about a year and half and have a much better quality of life while also making more money even after you factor in the PSA bonuses.

With the new $45k sign on bonus for street captains at Commutair I wonder if I'm the only forced upgrade considering a sidestep ? I would have jumped on Envoy's at the beginning of the year but not eligible for sign on bonus coming from another WO.
I have confidence I could get hired outside the flow.
Could be the biggest mistake I ever make. I could be riding the Commutair train for years after my classmates flow. Their is a pathway program or whatever its called for United.
I don't know, these craptastic LOAs being signed in the dark and no end in site to our promised reserve rules... I'm kind of thinking its worth the risk.
Any other street captain bonuses out there ?

If you have cofidence in your ability to get hired outside of flow, why side step? What about an LCC like jetblue, or spirit, maybe even frontier if they ever get a new contract negotiated. (Wouldn't go there until they have a contact). Heck fractoinals, and corporate gigs are options as well.
I originally got good feedback on my resume from NK - asked me to reapply once I get more airplane hours (1500 rotor/500 airplane at the time). Then they passed new TA and my resume got lost in the stack I guess, MCO opening sure increased interest also.
I was scored but not invited at for interview at JB or whatever there process is. Again, suggested to get more airplane time.
So yea, definitely will reapply pressure in those areas once I get some more airplane time as well as others (I have a pretty good IN at Southwest), probably spend the bucks on one of those prep places. Until then(more airplane time) though, if I'm going to sit reserve might as well collect a sign on bonus?
Don't know man just thinking out loud. I don't hate it here. Most crews are pretty awesome. I don't grumble on trips especially since upgrading since I'm now the leader. Of course hindsight is 20/20 and coulda shoulda woulda done a million things different in my life. Wish I wouldn't have married my ex, wish I would have asked that girl out in high school, wish I would have went with 9E, etc, etc...

I posted something similar seeking advice from those currently at PSA. I came on here to do research and I’m now second guessing coming here. My other options are also Expressjet and Skywest due to their ability to give me a sooner class date, and no forced upgrades to a less desirable domicile.

Not off the table by any means. I've looked at all those options, including cargo. I've intensified the search by 10 fold since the forced upgrade. I originally started looking around at my one year mark as I didn't like what I was seeing the direction this place was going.

Well, if it isn’t Gods gift to Aviation! Right here at PSA! I’m sure we won’t need to ask you but do let us all know how that works out for you!
