Any rumors of class cancellations ?

Will be a long time before they call you back.......both of my CJOs from both PSA and EDV were placed on hold. I am not even sure if I will be considering switching to full time flying again after seeing how fragile this industry is. Thinking of staying where I am, keep instructing part time (once and if my school re-opens), an buying a plane in a few years. I am so glad I didn't leave my job before New Years.
My advice is save save save. Have a budget for what you will do making half of what you make now and how long you can last. And have a budget for making zero money and see how long you can go. Once that zero income budget leaves you with enough savings to last a full year you should be just fine. Get in where you fit in. If what we’re seeing now is too uncomfortable for you then don’t. Because it will likely get worse.

I will definitely re-assess when things get back to normal, as of now it looks like it may take some time.. Stay safe and healthy!!

I was sent home from training with all the study materials in my Ipad. What do FO's and Captains suggest I study while I wait to go back to ground school? Should I hammer out systems and know it like a Captain since I have nothing else to do at home? Or should I get flow's down? What do you think would keep me busy and sharp for when PSA calls our class back (hopefully)
Ultimately, sooner or later, you will find yourself back in ground school and likely you will be kicking yourself should you end up guzzling from that fire hose with limitations and random numbers coming out of your ears when you could have given yourself a leg up in training with all this spare time you have.
I would dedicate some of that time not spent fretting over the news, watching Netflix or pacing around the room going nuts going over limitations, memory items, flows, callouts and profiles.
I mean it’s not like they’re gonna surprise you with a different aircraft type so long as you’re at PSA.
You’ll thank yourself come that time where you have to do things like study for a systems test and there aren’t enough hours in the day to go over flows/callouts too.
Best of luck, hang in there, you’ll see things will work out.
