lmao ya its in the creditors best interest to have AAG declare bankruptcy. What creditors? Airbus and Boring? What are they gonna do with 800 planes. Idk if you’ve looked around but planes aren’t going for much these days. The creditors want AAG to survive so that they have guaranteed income. If AAG goes bankrupt do you think they’ll be dancing and cheering at losing out on money?
The industry best guess is that when AA hits 6-8 billion in cash, they’ll be forced into court by the creditors in order to make the efficiencies needed for survival/orderly merger.

I might get so #triggered that I make a PA and threaten to land the plane in the middle of Kansas and dump everyone off damnit. Then I might realize that was a little too direct, and attempt to salvage the moment by saying something like “so everyone behave”. Yeah... that probably helped.

None of us know. There are rumors flying around that have already been stated here on this thread. We're waiting to see why as well - it doesn't make sense to us either.
Today everyone in the furlough sim queue got a phone call from the Chief Pilots stating that the quarterly training assigned to us while we were furloughed has to be completed before we go to the sims. So that's the only thing that happened so far.
