Look at that contract a little harder. I’ve never seen more back doors and strings in any labor contract like this.

I am very aware of it.

Then you’d know “renewed” is a pretty loose term here. The next 3 months are going to be interesting, then see what July brings.

I was speaking in terms of MESA CPA contract being renewed. PSA labor contract has no bearing on that fact.

The opportunity for growth for PSA was there until CRJ production ended and MESA CPA contract with AA was renewed. Where will CRJs come from for PSA. How will PSA see fleet growth with new additional CRJs added to the fleet unless a new type is added.

CPA contracts aren’t written like a poorly negotiated contract by a union....

Has anyone who did the HR interview the 24th of last month heard anything about a technical? I was talking to a buddy of mine and he says it sounds like they’re on hold interviewing people in the pipeline for classes after May. Which from the looks of things are the guys who Did the HR interview March 24th forward.

I haven’t heard anything either. Going on vacation on a few days so I was hoping to get everything done before hand.

Hey is there a way for us to update our flight times on the PSA Airlines ICIMS profile? I already reposted an updated resume with my times but alas, can’t figure out how to update my hours like you can on airline apps.

I did my HR video screen March 22 and I just got a call this morning to schedule my Technical Interview. 1600 TT, 600 part 135, ATP-MEL, and 4 year degree.

No prior 121 experience and I was not a cadet with PSA.

Just a heads up for anyone waiting for the call! I've followed these threads daily, so I thought I should contribute with some information.

Thanks! How far out are they scheduling your technical?

I may have? I don’t remember. There were rumors for a while but nothing came of any of it and the situation has been dynamic industry-wide. There are no airplanes coming from Europe. There are none coming out of the desert. So that leaves Mesa. And it costs money to move airplanes around with the savings by doing so being realized over time. Mesa is much more cost-effective than PSA. I don’t think we’re going to see any of those airplanes.

Maybe we would have gained some aircraft if we were able to gain additional block hours. That hasn’t happened yet. Maybe they figure it out in the future, maybe they don’t. But for now I don’t see much changing. I see AA restructuring some as they begin their recovery. What that looks like I have no idea. But they will place flying/airplanes at the carriers who are able to be flexible and respond quickly/efficiently to AA’s changing needs in a rapidly changing market. Not so sure PSA is able to be that airline for AA for a number of reasons that are far outside our control. So no sense worrying about any of it.

You can fly more with utilization efficiency gains. There are 7 crjs that mesa leases that could be moved to PSA at AA request but that’s it.

They asked if I could do it tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday, but I’m actually working a trip so I scheduled for next week. So it sounds like immediately!
