Some people with over a year on payroll are the very last person on the seniority list., Well I guess one person.

You could probably say that some people with over two years on payroll are still on reserve. But you have to keep in mind that there has been no movement in the last 12 months.

The short time on reserve at a regional is a relatively recent development. People on board 2005-2015 or so spent years on reserve. Complaining about a year on reserve is kinda entitled sounding. Heck I’ve been on reserve for two after upgrade. As an fo I sat zero days on reserve at YV.

I also remember him saying that a base like DAY had long reserve because it is really senior now, but that there were others who came back from recall that had been on reserve but came back to a line. He hedged his statement with ‘as soon as the opportunities at majors return, we expect a lot of pilots to move on and for reserve time to shrink at all bases’. But at any rate, the answers he gave were all pretty much exactly what I expected to hear from any company I talked to at this point.

DAY is a monster created by base closures - mostly CVG, probably a bit TYS. That will take awhile to play out.

Meh, I will argue it’s only mainly because of CVG as DAY is a 2 leg commute for folks in TYS. CLT gotten more senior because of TYS.

we agree it’s mainly cvg. Anyone who lived in Knoxville would likely pick CLT. But people who drive from north of there might pick DAY

Has any one received a call for the technical that submitted the HR mid week last week?

Not sure why but my dashboard shows 3 apps for the FO position... I only applied once, the most recent one has today's date on it and states 'continue application'.

Anybody else having this issue? I don't want it to look like I'm applying over and over again. I did receive an email to update my times etc...
