you will not be in school on Christmas day, maybe one other day, but it’s not like you got a week off.

Had 4 days off for Thanksgiving, 4 days off for Christmas (including weekend). Not sure how typical, but that's what we had during initial training.

Are those guys at least able to hold a line by this point if they were hired in 2017?

27 March, 2017; 14 August, 2017; 9 November 2015; and 23 October 2017 respectively.

Info as of the November award.

When I went through it was 2 weeks but that was pre covid. I've heard rumors its 3-4 weeks now but that's just rumors floating around.
Sounds good. Good info i could work with right here. Just wanted to know if they even consider giving days off if holidays land on a weekend or what not as it is the case for this year. No problem at all. Thanks!

Gotcha! 4 days off is not bad then.

It's closer to 4-5 years on reserve as a Captain.

That shouldn’t be a surprise at all. You’d have to wait for most of the on-property FOs to upgrade before you’d come off reserve. That’s how seniority works.

I’m not sure I follow. If I’m a captain now and they are still on the Fo list, I shouldn’t have to wait for a line for them to upgrade. Once they upgrade that’s one thing, but if those fo’s where ready to upgrade why do they need dec?
