i interviewed on Feb 21st and was told i was being put into a pool so hopefully they call sooooooooooooon!

It will probably be another 2 or 3 weeks before you get a call. These things take time and they've slowed down hiring a little recently. Just be patient.

I would say that we should have a class soon. Attrition is as slow as a turtle but its happening and I know two guys that will be leaving this month. Plus i heard that we picked up more flying (no airframes just more flying) again what i heard in the crew room I might be wrong.

If youre in a pool, you might be waiting awhile. As stated above, attrition has been way slower than the company expected. Many reserves are sitting around doing nothing for Weeks. No ungrade classes have been announced since January, and the last new hire class started in Feb.

Im on reserve and barely fly...thats a way of life for PSA reserves. if you do fly, its for a low quality trip with little time anyway....aka a 2 or 3 day trip worth 8, 9 10 hours.

For those in the pool or applying, hang tight, but dot expect to be called soon. id assume with recent departures there may be an upgrade class in a month or two, and a new hire class around the same time to compensate.

Attrition is nowhere near what anyone thought it would be. Sucks. but....thats life.

This..... Haha I know of nearly a dozen we're losing in a month.... From USairways to Jetblue to anl junior FO (previous TPIC) going to Spirit...... It will happen sooner then later....

Also enjoy quiet because summer always means HELL..... It never fails during the summer months.... Amazing how block hours increase so do sick calls.....

while people may not like the way i think, i actually would rather be working than sitting around, so bring it on. haha.

if we are losing the dozen in (may?), then combined with the few we've lost the last month id say we're bound to have another upgrade or new hire soon.

found it interesting that TYS had more flying for may than DAY.... 37 versus 35 lines.

Yeah that whole TYS/DAY lines is always funny.... Especially with Dayton having 5 AC plus a night in mx.... Always told with the out and back lines it requires fewer over all lines???

Yeah there are around a dozen...... Couple shy now that I look at names...... A few FOs and CAs..... Also a good number who are waiting back on news or are scheduled to interview with USairways too.....
