PDT is top heavy, but we only have 350 or so pilots. So it wouldn't take much to offer the top 20% of PDT/PSA early retirement or a buy out. They are doing ZERO updates to our fleet. "We can't justify the cost to acquire more -300's", the work horse and most sought after plane in our fleet. If they wanted us to continue flying the Dash, they'd be acquiring more of them to match all the airframes wear losing over the next 16 months. I know the last thing PSA wants is a merger with PDT, due to seniority issues, but by adding an additional 40 airframes, it shouldn't be that devastating to anyone. Just my opinion.
