Why are you guys get mad at each other? We're not that important... And our strong personal opinions mean jack when it comes down to decisions that are being made upstairs. If Airways wanted eagle to accept concessions, eagle would've accepted concessions. Think hard about that one and see if I'm wrong. It seems like they want PSA to accept concessions. Which we will because they know exactly how much to offer to convince the 80% of PSA pilots to vote yes. I can see us merging with PDT and eagle dwindling down. I'm looking at this totally objectively, just smart business.
I like how you say it's just the same 3 or 4 people on here who don't speak forthegroup yet you go on to say it'll pass. Ok. Thanks for proving my point?

That isn't even remotely close to what I said.

I personally don't know which way to vote until the TA comes out. IF it comes out.

I'm saying majors will get what they want one way or another.

I just don't think people should get all worked up over something they think they have control over when they don't.

You do have control over it. Thats what you pay 2% of your paycheck for, the right to say no thanks, I dont want a paycut. If this gets past the mec, we need to go non union at psa. I can take paycuts all by myself and dont need to pay a middle man to convince me.

This pilot gets it. You are correct on all points.

Why would you want to vote for concessions in exchange for career progression. Last I checked there are not enough regional pilots at all regionals combined to fill all the mainline vacancies over the next ten years. THERE is your career progression. Anybody who wants to leave will be able to. No need for a single concession.

And if airways remains a stand alone, its hardly career progression being forced to flow there. Going 80+/per hour to 25 or whatever they're paying there now. Take you 7-8 years just get back psa CA pay at airways. Hardly a carrot.

Hello everyone,
This might be off topic with the recent posts but I just received an e-mail inviting me to interview on the 12th of September. I am new to the 121 world and just needed some advice from those who have been there. Any info will help. Thanks! (just in case anyone was wondering, my times are 1600TT and 101 Multi)

Going to need to be more specific. What do you want to know?
