This is all contingent on the merger?

I don't think I've EVER seen this written about seafeye. EVER.

Regardless, you 'Streakers better get ready for a sh&$ sandwich buffet because nothing ever good happens at PSA. This mess is a perfect example.

Good luck.

Those with 10-14 years at PSA have a lot to lose if pay gets frozen. Also hear that f/o's may have pay frozen at year 4. To me regional f/o's are totally underpaid and to cap them off at year 4 is horrible. But they may vote yes for this because of a quick upgrade.
Kind of short sighted because once the growth stops, or we lose the 200's then we will be back in the same position we are in today. I would hate to be a 8 year f/o on 4th year pay flying for reduced 900 rates.
Also a preferential interview is next to useless. This isn't a carrot, it's worthless.

We also hear that we are going to get 30-40 airplanes. Well 40 airplanes is 320 pilots to hire. And we will have 5 a month go to airways. Our CP say he wants to hire 25/month. Just not sure where they are going to come from. Expecially if the f/o pay caps out at year 4.

Of course the Union has not released details of this TA. We can only guess what is in the deal.
The way I see it is the top 35 guys have nothing to loose, they will all be at 18 year pay when the first aircraft arrives. Voting yes for them is basically ensuring job security until they retire. So you will probably see them voting yes. For our First Officers, about 3/4 of them will be Captains If these airplanes are in addition to our 200's. So for them a yes vote is also likely. Its our 10-17 year pilots who want to stay at PSA or who don't wish to go to the "New American" who are really seeing a **** sandwich.

I just don't understand when we're on the precipice of a massive shortage of pilots (at the regional level) why people would vote in concessionary contracts. For once, pilots will have the leverage and everyone seems ready to vote it away so they can get a few new airplanes when most people will be heading to the majors in a few years anyway.

So AE, Pinnacle, PDT, PSA, SKW, EXJ and RAH somewhat have a senior pilot group but we allowe them to compare us to GoJet and Compass whom have like 800 pilots total. Most of our regionals are carrying that many RSV pilots. Same **** different airline

I know right? I'm as surprised as you.

Senior pilots are already spreading rumors that PSA will close like Comair if we do not accept the TA. Many f/o's are excited about the prospect of movement. It would actually be a pay raise because the 900 rates are higher. But at the cost of…..CA and F/O pay topping out.

Personally i have had it with the lack of ethics at US Airways. And that some senior pilots bend over each and every time they are threatened. Grow a pair. So flipping what if airways gives the airplanes to eagle or slow jets.

We still have to see the real deal, till then this is all just rumors.

Yes, but the pilot group is betting on an upgrade before year 4 and that you will be gone before year 12. For all the FOs and Captains who are already above the 4 or 12 years their pay is frozen once the first airplane arrives. Then they will receive the pay raises at that level. US Airways doesn't want PSA to be a place where people make their career.

Most Eagle pilots just don't want to see the profession degraded any further (RJ Pilot doesn't count). I haven't heard any Eagle pilots talk down to PSA folks.

If PSA gets better pay and a better contract to fly these planes then more power to them. If they take concessions and further lower the bar for everyone else for their own selfish interests, then I may have to start calling them as*holes.
