Obviously you can't educate a person who wishes to be ignorant. So a year 1 guy should be paid the same as a year 12 guy and if not its a b scale based on your logic...... So though I have no where close to 12 years of service I deserved the same pay as that guy?

Pay scales remain the same..... AE on a b scale would have a whole new pay scale. That's what a B scale is. When there's one pay scale there's clearly not another option/scale.

The senior pilots have nothing to lose. Nothing. The junior ones do. Senior pilots have their choice of vacation, lines, holidays, don't' lose a penny in this TA. Remember the contract back in 2002? Where the captains got a $5/hr raise and the f/o's $.50? History repeats itself.
That's not the definition of a b scale..... It's not a great move by AA but its by no means a b scale. Ask the former UAL guys what a b scale is.... It's not this.

Having some pilots frozen and some not is clearly what I meant. 2 seperate pay scales for 2 pilots that in theory have the same longevity. In the same position, catagory, and class. B scale. And guess what? AE was a frozen scale too same as pncl. Educate yourself.

You're wrong. AE was a whole separate b scale and pay scale. Thus the then lead by their Chairman at the national level in which all MEC Chairman accepted to not negotiate. If this is a violation I doubt it would be out to ratification.

How long have you been at PDT?

If anyone attends the roadshow today, will you please ask where the aircraft will be based? Also, I assume these new frames will be CRJ's, correct?

Pilot A (25 year longevity) gets paid at the 18 year rate.
Pilot B (18 year longevity) gets paid at the 12 year rate and stays there, never making it to year 18. Or 13 for that matter.

Unfortunately by definition not a b scale. 90% of PSA pilots indicated to the NC that they do not desire a career at PSA. Thus the NC got a deal to reflect that.

Also by ALPA the NC at each property has one job. That is to secure the best deal they believe they can for their pilots. I have to believe that the NC who sat through 5 years of talks believes this the best they can get. If I like it is another question? That I do not but I understand the NC views and agreed to listen openly to their presentation.

That sounds like a backdoor B-scale.

Anyone know when the info will be available? I'm waiting to hear the facts before I decide on an opinion.

No it will be E-175 You seem to be more worried about the aircraft than anything else that matters.
