Which tricks? I haven't been on reserve for 8 months or so. Curious what they're still able to do.

I got an e-mail from Kacey Collinsworth on 28 May inviting me to interview on 7 June. I replied to her e-mail and a week later still hadn't received a response. Tuesday, I sent another e-mail and followed up with a phone call on Wednesday (no answer, left a voicemail). So the 7th came and went--obviously no interview for me. Even if they changed their minds, I would at least expect an e-mail saying "Upon further reflection, we've decided you're a d-bag and we don't want to interview you after all," or something equivalent. I'm just getting complete silence. Can anybody offer any insight into what might've happened?

Yep, that's pretty much the way things are run in Dayton. Expect more of the same.

How much hiring is going on these days? Are the APC rates the new pay rates?

Once a month. That'll change soon. And yes those are the new pay rates. 2nd n 3rd year FO pay went up a lot. Rest are negligible.
