My deepest condolences the family, friends of Mark Z and the entire PSA family. In my opinion, though not perfect, he was a good man with great vision and will be missed. I know he had good plans for PSA.

Mark Z always was open and very engaging with the pilot group. He had high expectations, but if you did your job, he would go out on a limb for you. He had a great vision for PSA. After he took over the job, schedules got a tad bit better (no long 3-4 hour sits), and schedulers started acting a little more polite. I think things were going to progress for the better. It is very sad to hear of his passing. I hope that once the mourning has passed, his position is replaced with someone that can engage and earn the respect of the pilot group and be a barrier to those above him that have the goal of making our life miserable.

PSA is better than Skywest if you live in CLT, DAY or TYS. Upgrade time is quicker. Pay, I guess as long as you don't get the Brasilia, it's comparative. No soft pay though. Not sure if SKW has any soft pay either. They're getting bunch of E jets and our 200's are getting old. Flip a coin I say.
