That doesnt surprise me. PSA has been very pro-active in the wake of the Buffalo crash; stick pusher training, biannual Sim training for fos. Those are good things, I just dont think the 1500 thing will happen and PSA is over preparing.

Last I heard the FAA was changing the rule to have 750 hours be the minimum, obviously no ATP. Also graduates of an "Approved" (most likely 141) training school would would qualify for even lower mins

That's the confusing part. I'm a vet and used the Post 9/11 GI Bill for flight training at Embry-Riddle. I'm finishing the degree online. So technically I haven't graduated yet, but I've "graduated" from the flight program.

Any hiring projections for 2012? What are the actual time requirements? Would they look at a low timer?
Thanks for any current info you may have about bases, training, upgrades etc...

Anyone know their competitive mins? I'm at 2450TT, 460 ME, 2000 CFI, 0 121/Turbine.

Yes youre very competitive. With those time though, you could probably get a call from a much better place. Something to consider.

Consider applying at Skywest and ExpressJet as well
