Which domicile would be the easiest to commute to from Chicago? With the hiring what would be the average time on reserve at the three bases? I see DAY has quite a few flights from ORD, but I've heard it's on the more senior side. Same goes for CLT?

That's great to hear. Did you commute while on reserve, and did you use a crash pad or just get a hotel? Since it's an outstation I'm sure there are many early, early shows and late finishes...

A friend told me it's in January sometime but it's full. JB said they'll resume interviewing/hiring after the New Year for Feb classes beyond.

I hope it's true. I really want PSA.

Yes I did commute on reserve and yes I had a crashpad. It would have been far too expensive, even back then, to buy a hotel room vs. have a crashpad.

Commuting across the country for 2 years while on reserve is about as much fun as it sounds. But I did it, even with only 2 days off.
