The last rumor I heard is that piedmont is getting Mesa's dash 8's. And PSA is getting republics e-170's. Merry Christmas.
Eh, you guys at PSA can have the Dash 8's. PDT will take the jets this time! Anyone else up for a good laugh?

Read the thread about how the 50 seater cuts are coming. If Air Wisconsin doesn't invest in larger airplanes, then they will not be in business much longer. Not to mention their horrible on time performance, dirty planes, and constant maintenance issues.

Any regional that is heavy on 50 seaters is in trouble. Comair is the first victim of many. Expect to see a lot more consolidation, ala Pinnacolaba, aceywestjet, etc.

Well I am glad you know who I am..... Which does not bother me. But you can at the very least see why posting about furloughs and or downgrades on a forum can be viewed as doing in bad taste? No reason to do such non sense especially when the way you posted it could be taken as you have knowledge of it by some......

When you are using OBVIOUS sarcasm no one has an issue with any stupid post. But your above post was in bad taste at the very least.

Just to be clear, there is a market for 50 seat jets, just not as big as it is now. The Carolina shuttle and so forth is profitable in an rj, even with high gas prices.

Once again you have taken a post on here the wrong way.

There's a trip in open time that goes from CLT to Dothan, AL. Then a limo from there to TLH for a deadhead the next day.

That is really weird. Are we doing some sort of charter?

First class upgrades on the 700s are being done in DHN and Airways does not service DHN at all which is the reason for the taxi to TLH.

Hmm. I thought they were sending those to clarksburg. Seems like instead of a ride to TLH they would arrange a drop off/ pick up scenario.

Not really possible with each aircraft being down for a couple weeks. I think there are six down there now.
