Do you mean offers or interviews? Has that started already or is that also at the expense of the US/AA merger?

Unlimited interviews in seniority order, plus 4 job offers a month minimum, totalling 48 a year, minimum. So, they can interview 10 in a month in seniority order to find the 4 they want. Outside of that, they can take whoever they want, it just doesn't count towards the 4. It will basically be a very easy hire process, since once they reach the bottom of the seniority list they have to go through it again. So to people who say they will just say no to everyone blah blah blah.... They don't know what they're talking about. The point of this hiring arrangement is to keep PSA cheap by hiring our pilots, so the majority of guys here won't be reaching the top of the pay scales. Now yes, PSA can "hold" pilots back from hire of we need them due to staffing, but ONLY until December that year. The 48/year min must be met by decemeber. So it would be unlikely a year's worth of people are held because that's 48 people we'd lose in decemeber that year.

This begins Jan 1, 2014. That's what the LOA says. Only confusing part is the whole thing is based off the merger, so of merger not complete by then idk if it kicks in. They've taken 5 FOs in the last month so clearly they are taking guys regardless.

There must be something in the water over there if you think one part of that horrible concessionary contract was a good idea.

Just explained what it is in black and white. Never said it was a good idea.

It's good for those who have been here 15 years plus. They do lose some pay raises but it would be offset by the increase pay on 76-90 seaters.
But mostly it gives them piece of mind that PSA will be around till they retire.
Now for all of us that are below 12 year mark it hurts. It forces us to apply to airways and if we get offered a position we have to accept it. And the 60% pay cut/loss of vacation/commute yada yada yada
The junior pilots may have voted yes because of a quick upgrade. But what does that mean nowadays anyway? We have plenty of f/o's that are going to airways with 0 pic. Alpa did a great job of destroying what little regionals have accomplished.

ehh, i say partially incorrect. There's a clause that says something in the ballpark of "if airways taking people affects the PSA operation negatively, airways doesn't have to take anyone and their quota is still considered met."
