You call flying 4 days under staffed? Or was PSA under staffed (cx flights due to no crew) in the summer before?

I'm saying winter is slow. One shouldn't be flying much at all. Last summer I credited 100 march-september. Its miserable. Enjoy the slow months. Spring will be here soon and You won't have a life.

I think differently. I'm a commuter and when I am at work I want to work. Fly the crap out of me. I much rather be out flying making perdiem then sitting in a crashpad or the airport. It gets depressing when you're away from your family and you dont do anything. I would love to credit 100 hrs rather then 35, I'm away from home the same amount of time.

You'll fit perfectly to PSA reserve life lol now let's see in 6 months if you would feel the same :P
None of us have problems with flying... It's the afternoon hot Rsv, then being dh at 8pm, followed by 630am show, then afternoon hot Rsv next day all the way til midnight before being released, and on last day you end up working all day til 930pm and almost miss your commute home when there were at least 3 other rsvs that could've flown the last round trip...(sorry about the run-ons) I'm not giving an example from months ago, this was my past 4 days of Rsv. We need to grab a beer if you want to hear about the horror stories of being on Rsv.
Welcome to PSA :P I implore you to keep up with the positiveness. I'm not whining anymore.... I've come in terms with it lol just hope I'm off Rsv in dec!

The POH and FOM are available on the company website as downloadable PDF files. See if you can get someone in HR to email you a POH .pfd attachment or maybe go ahead have you set up with a user name and password to log onto the company website. The POH as all the flows in it. They may not want to because you haven't started training yet. Once in training you'll get physical copies of all the books to study but you don't get to keep them after training.
