I was shocked that talks are continuing considering that the AA merger may not go through now. Am I mistaking, or is us airways maxed out on their large rj scope? If so, what are they still negotiating? Either Parker is extremely confident that they'll win in court, or I'm wrong about scope.

Yea I believe airways is maxed out on RJ scope so there won't be any planes until the merger goes thru. Almost everyone in the Wall Street believes that the merger will go thru, just delayed few months so that's why the talks are continuing. But obviously not at the pace it was at two weeks ago where they wanted to meet every week.

Tentative agreement reached to go out for pilot vote.
Current speculation is we're picking up all mesa's flying in CLT with new -900s, Mesa goes to PHX, and the 30-40 frames we get us just to start with. Lots of speculation that fleet could expand beyond the additional frames down the road.

I'm guessing its a slight reduction in our negotiated rates for larger A/C in exchange for either an increase in preferential interviewing, or a flow through, or a combination of both. They've been heavy on that "career progression" phrase.

I've heard this is separate of the merger and the door would now be open to fleet expansion for the merger once that happens. Interesting

No one knows..... No one on here for certain knows. There are three men who were pilots at PSA that sat in on these conversations and none of them are posting here or telling details. They signed a non disclosure agreement much like the AE NC did when they met. Therefore they are not allowed to speak and have not unlike others.
