What are the RSV prospects for a new guy based in DAY?

I am about to be a former Eagle guy...I would rather start over than take flying to ORD to sit reserve for the forseeable future.

If it gets to a vote with you guys, think a B scale would pass? (Not trying to start anything just curious what talk is on the line)

There have been zero talks of a b scale. Unless AA is willing to let a USairways wholly own fly for them I think we won't be flying additional planes anytime soon..... Unless Mesa cannot staff theirs that is but that seems unlikely.

I'd say you'd be on reserve right now in DAY about a 12-18 months, probably get long call somewhere at 10-14 months.

That is if things stay how they are now, and we all know how that goes.

What he said. Definitely 15-18 months reserve.

I've been on reserve in CLT for 2 years now, if that answers your question.

I'm going to go the opposite here. If upgrades ever start happening nearly all of the DAY based FO's holding a line (20/35) are going on 6 years plus and wanting to upgrade. Now this is all based on needing FO's for the new FT/DT and hopefully movement I would wager to say holding a line in DAY will not be that awful. The thing about those now on RSV is they got hired and then we stopped upgrading. Before that we were having pretty good movement, especially for CLT based pilots, to get off RSV quickly.

Was hired in '08. Got furloughed in '08. Recalled in '10. Sat reserve in tys/clt for about 2 years. Still waiting on that upgrade.

How much can one expect to fly while on reserve? And how exactly does it get decided if you're going to fly the 200 or 700? Is CLT pretty junior? Thanks in advance for any information, and apologize if this has been discussed before. I skimmed through a lot of pages looking for answers, but then gave up and decided just to ask.
