Yes backed up. Current class is 23 pilots, which was split after indoc week. This was due in part to the limited number of instructors available. So some went home for 2-3 weeks and have just returned while the first batch finishes up. In fact next Monday will be a mix of some of the August class and current class. Those in the current class not heading to the sim next week will be getting a month off until sim time does open up (at least as of yesterday). It's been logistically challenging given class sizes are normally so much smaller. So if you've put in and heard nothing that could be why. Seems many people currently wear two hats so to speak at the moment. For the most part people are getting what base they want out of the gate as well out of Dayton. Good luck to those who have applied.

that's awesome! enjoy the time off guys... i remember last year i had xmas and new years off. whole 10 days off between the accelerated ground school and sim. next time i see xmas and new years off will be... by the time i retire?? lol
I believe the last of the 16 gents that were hired by airways left two weeks ago. which means these current upgrades are sufficient and with the current class of 23, we should be set for the remainder of the year. I really hope I'm wrong and we continue to see movements!
