I know this because the letter I received was dated BEFORE the date that I was told my paperwork had been "lost." Funny too because no one indicated to me that I had failed ANY portion of the interview. I don't mind so much not being chosen as I do feeling as though I've just been jerked around. Additionally, it took them nearly 3 weeks to let me know? WOW. That level of professionalism, or lack thereof, is disappointing.

Sorry to hear what you went through; I interviewed last week Thursday, and I know the HR lady had came back from a long vacation. I got the call today for September 7 class date. Good luck!

I got mine yesterday, and completely dumbfounded. The interview, at least I thought, went really well. I have other things lined up anyways

It might not seem like it now but trust me you dodged a bullet. Your short experience with this company should serve as an indication of how we are treated here. Many better regionals out there.

Amen! When researching an airline start at the top, and do your homework. The company that you choose to interview with isn't the only one investing here. You are too...and much, much more considering the pay, time away from home and overall quality of life...

Check out who's running the ship. Anyone see a pattern with your VP of Flight Operations? 1) Midwest Airlines = ceased operations, 2) Independence Air = ceased operations. 3) PSA = ?

-Captain, the METAR is less than 6 inches long, so no problem!-

We've been saying this ever since he came "on-board".

The industry will always be what you make of it. I mean the things we dislike about the profession do not change regardless of whose name is on the outside - especially at the regional level. At the end of the day it's just a job. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. I know several pilots who've made such transitions to "better" regionals and feel that their new employer isn't any better than their old one.

...and new SkyWest just signed on to fly 200s on a 3 year contract. When are the PSA 200 leases up? Not to make people paranoid or anything....

Oh, by the way, SkyWest was brought in by Midwest to replace Skyway before it was closed down.

I tried to resist but can't. The very first lease isn't up until 2017. Psa actually was cheaper then Skywest but due to a lack of structure out West the cost to start that up then exceeded savings. Straight from our VP of Ops. Sounds like had we had some more bodies and any West coast operation this flying would have been PSAs. But Skywest ultimately is flying this at nothing if not a loss as confirmed by J.O and our VP.....
