Yeah well figure it out quick. Did you happen to see the revised CA award? Guess who's the alternate.

(4) 250 hours of flight time in an airplane as a pilot in command, or as second in command performing the duties of pilot in command while under the supervision of a pilot in command, or any combination thereof, which includes at least—
(i) 100 hours of cross-country flight time; and
(ii) 25 hours of night flight time.

I can't speak for the intent of the regs but it would seem that you need 100hrs PIC x-ctry. You may have it if you were acting as PIC but then when in a 121 enviroment are you doing that?

You didn't read down far enough. Read where it says substituting SIC and flight engineer time. Even then, with the part you quoted above, it still says that SIC can count. When an SIC is at the controls, he is performing the duties of the PIC while under his supervision. What else in the world could it possibly mean other than that. Either way, I'm not worried about myself. I'm way past all this. I'm worried about all these FO' getting screwed.

That only applies to the 1500TT, not the 250 PIC. The 250 PIC is waiverable with the ICAO limitation, but it does not say that the 100 PIC x-c is waiverable or cannot have other time substituted for it. I knew baby CA's who couldn't go international...and that was about it. They did a couple of trips and got a new ticket. Again, they had the 100 PIC x-c from their student/CFI days.

Hey everyone I'm looking for some advice. I got hired at colgan in April this yea on the Saab 340 up in Boston. Due to scheduling screw ups and delays I still haven't started IOE yet and nobody seems to have a idea of how much longer it will be. That being said I interviewed a few weeks ago at PSA and was offered the sept 7 class. Do you all think it would be worth the move and training again and giving up 6 months of seniority (I think I can hold a line in my base when I finally get up there)? Thanks!

Honestly I would stay where you are. But that's just my opinion.
