Buahahaha, the email your MEC sent you is a carbon copy of what Eagle's MEC sent out in April-Mayish time frame. There is only one reason management is meeting with ALPA! Get ready

Are you seriously asking us to post an email from our union?? I hope you are asking your own guys to do that. Union emails have no business being posted on this forum.

We talked with management, don't really know what they want but they want the airline to succeed, they are offering larger aircraft but we don't know what they want. Management is impressed with our performance... Fly safe

There you go, if you want further details go to AE thread and look back around April when we got a letter from the Union that looks and reads almost like the one PSA received. I think the file is called "Whipsaw".

I think Eagle sent a clear message that concessions won't taken to get more aircraft. I know PSA will vote down anything that is subpar, they already showed that once. My best guess is that they are going to want us to take a pay freeze for a certain amount of time before giving us our contractual raises.

I'm willing to negotiate as long as they agree to give us a guaranteed job at mainline. Then it won't really matter what we give up, cause if we move to mainline, we won't have to live with it anymore. Just a small sacrifice for a big payout later.

This is the same attitude that people going to crappy regionals have, go somewhere that sucks but make the quick upgrade. Small sacrifice for a big payout later. Don't buy into this crap, the lower wages and B scale at the regional impact the majors. The less they pay pilots at the regionals the more leverage management has when it come to outsourcing and the more the major airline pilots have to give in return to the flying not leaving out the front door. This isn't just a small sacrifice, a pilot group voting in a B scale has large consequences for ALL of us.

The cheaper we work, the easier is for management to outsource. The more they outsource the less mainline jobs available.
