If we say no, its only a matter of time before they offer this deal to someone else...If this is offered to Piedmont I can almost guarantee you they will say yes. If I'm not mistaken the CRJ's were first offered to Piedmont they said no and PSA said yes...lets not be PDT in 10 years still flying 200's....before you say NO think about your future here at psa...I would take a concession if that means I get a number at Airways. Plus with this 1500 hour rule we need to make psa a more attractive place to work

What evidence can you present that makes you believe that mainline will offer seniority numbers. Based upon a 17% interview success rate (rumored) it seems extremely unlikely that they would put us on the payroll without an interview. Would you give concessions for an assured interview? That is a big gamble to make. Don't forget, Airways posted record profits partly through lowering your pay.

I don't think so. I don't think it was as bad as Eagles offer. I think it was a very politically correct and rumor controlling email. It's attitudes like yours of twisting things to say "yes this absolutely means X" that will skew the way this is handled.

Am I wrong by suggesting that? Why would he say there will be road shows and a vote (if MEC even approves it). And keep the crew room banter to a minimum until you hear the full deal? Obviously it wasn't as simple as "OK guys here's the planes, just wanted to give the union a heads up that they are on the way." There is a down side to this deal

Having a road show prior to voting is our contractual right. I honestly don't think MEC even has an idea what this is about. It wasn't a take it or leave it offer like they did with eagle. And we're bound to replace the 200's anyway. I'm still skeptical about this being growth. Regionals are shrinking. That's the new model. I'll be happy just keeping the fleet as it is as long as possible.

We negotiated 900 rates TWICE in the years I have been at PSA. That was once to many. They have our rates and our contract which was has provisions for larger aircraft. That is my deal. If they ask for anything less then they will get the same answer they get for jr mans. No Thanks NEXT!!!!

While we all hope for growth, I can see our 200's getting replaced prior to our fleet expanding....then again anythings possible.
