At PSA you'll have more income during training as opposed to when you finish IOE and start getting your 72 hr guarantee with hardly any per diem pay. Back in the 250 hrs/wet multi days they dumbed down training and cut plenty of slack. I was going through in those days and came close to quitting (getting fired) even though I was high time and high experience.

Cooperate and graduate is it's own entity at PSA. Welcome to Vandalia OH. Training has become much different as of late though. New leadership doing a great job but no more slack.

There is still room for some extra work to get you through if you have a good attitude and training record. They are not SENDING people home just to send them home.... Yes some have resigned, and or been asked to resign, but it does seems those whom have been asked were given a fair shot to pass..... The ground instructors, to SIM, to IOE Checks are still doing a very fair and great job.... One bonus now is all of them, including ground, have over 4 years of actual line experience unlike back in 2007 when some were just new themselves trying to teach ground school/systems......

I agree. Training department has stepped up doing better job. But also for the past few months they were hiring guys and gal with 1500/500 plus. What I hear recently is the minimums dropping dramatically. Either we're going to see high wash out rates or they have to babysit the new hires thru training.

JR said that there basically are no minimums, just preferred.

As far as I know that's the best way. Or email Jennifer Beard. I think [email protected]. Write her a nice email asking for update and status. If you know someone here, ask that person to fill out referral for you.

Man I thought my Monday was going to suck. Just wait till jennifer opens up her inbox tomorrow and has 1000000 resumes to go through. All I know is that we need FOs so send her a resume.

What are realistic mins for getting on with PSA? It seems to me that the 1500/150 aren't being taken too seriously...
