So you had leverage and rolled over in exchange for the possibility of growth airplanes and flying shifted from one regional to yours, and you are hoping that management will come to you know for improvements? And then you will have more leverage? You have them 10+ years of not having to make contract improvements.
No flying that says connection, express, or eagle is yours..... Get real man.

Second of all I don't refer to regional flying as theirs as it's all outsourced, meaning you are being contracted for a short period of time to operate a flight on behalf of someone else.
Third, even if AE would have had a strong MEC we would had not been able to secure all the flying. AA has wanted to spread the flying around for year, they see the benefits to the operation as well as their pocket books. Look how when RAH can't operate a flight AE covers it, then when AE can't cover a flight out west SKW covers it and if AE or EXJ can't cover a flight in DFW then the other steps in. The next day due to staffing or aircraft situation the roles could be reversed. This is exactly what management wants and no matter how hard we fought we were not going to "keep" the flying or control over 90% of AA's outsourced flying.
I say again, PSA voted yes to possibility shift current flying done by one regional back to them, since this was done by concessions PSA undercut other regionals. This is what we call the race to the bottom, doesn't matter how you sugar coat it... The majority of the pilot group voted to decrease your compensation in exchange for work currently being done by a pilot group who is better compensated.
If you think pilot pay alone is what drives airways to place aircraft on airline A instead of B you are mistaken. The current flight management is fighting is to reduce pilot block hour cost while increasing seat-miles flown by said pilots. So while inflation rises, the PSA pilots voted to decrease their pay per work done.

I am a new hire with PSA and would like some one to give me tips as far as where to pick for a base as far as commuting wise, trip wise and quality of life in the towns as I have never experience visiting Charlotte, Dayton or Knoxville. I am from the northeast so will be commuting fro DC. I would like to see where I can get the fastest line after training as being a line holder is my first priority. Thank you

I just asked a simple question to which I seek a simple answer. First of all let me make myself clear, I was not part of the TA vote and was brought on board after it passed, so there is no reason to show the frustration I can clearly see in you as I did not mention anything about that TA. Secondly for people who are from the south south, DC is considered North and a bit to the east meaning Northeast. And to answer your final question, nobody is willing to work for free and nobody perhaps will, BUT nobody also wants to work for an airline perhaps like the one your in right now who is a slow sinking ship with no future. If there is a future, and quality of life with a little pay cut that comes with it, I would rather take that then jump on a sinking ship that gives no respect to its pilots.

Sorry you came on board at a hostile time. We do a lot of DC flying out of all 3 bases so Knoxville will probably get you a line the fastest. But many trips are not commutable on either end or maybe both ends. If you're a commuter then Charlotte does have the most commutable trips. Attrition is slow right now but at least steady and hopefully you won't have to sit reserve for years like most of us did.
Despite the mud slinging on apc and even on our forum, we have a lot of good guys and gals in our group with a few oddballs. Make the best of it and try to enjoy the ride!

P.S. Where's this quality of life you speak of? Taking concessions isn't improvement in QOL, you're adding to the problem by taking a job with an employer who had the audacity to seek concessions while making profit.
