you're right, technically he won't be taking concessions. I believe Most people aren't really as upset about the pay rate cuts as they are all the other garbage in the TA

Yes they were, thats when times were good over there. It was just prior to the bankruptcy that the hiring halted. Also that was around the time the talk of all the Saabs being parked as well.

You say it like you left solely out of morality. I assure you Menke was not sobbing in his mansion when you left and Parker isnt cartwheeling with joy because he got this guy to agree to psa pay and work rules. You left because you wanted some sort of job security and better qol which is the exact same thing this dude is looking for. Get over yourself and skywest, I'm gonna bet given the number of 200s skywest has you'll probably find yourself in the same position for a second time. Whatre you gonna do then, go to the next hot regional to be at and take first year pay for a third time so you can continue to talk down to your peers and give more of your useless input? GMAFB

Plus Slats was pretty darn sure there were gonna be furloughs, as was 85% of the pilot group, and as she was in the bottom 5% of the pilot group it was furlough or leave. Non of this "principles" crap. It's amazing furloughs didn't happen.

Really? I must've missed that "put me in my place" moment. Skywest does have many 200s but they also have a fleet plan. I've been fortunate enough to interview elsewhere and have one leg out the door. Just waiting for backgrounds to come back. And IF, my new employer happens to furlough close doors Ect..., I assure you, the regionals would not be my next stop. I've positioned myself through education/networking to make an exit, which is what I plan to do IF given the choice to return to the regionals at yr1 pay again.
