I Love PSA

Glass half empty people can argue they will only take 4 a month, 48 a year (per contract), and the airplanes won't be growth airplanes, and the 30 won't come fully delivered until years from now.
The glass half full guys see airways taking minimum of 4, (which would be in seniority order per interviews. Ie, interview 7, take 4 they like) then after that they can hire out of PSA like any other airlines, perhaps an FO or junior captain who sucked off the chief pilot. You get my point. Airplanes- getting delivered as GROWTH airplanes, in an approximate 15 month span, growing to a 79 aircraft company. The quicker airways gets the first on property the freezes and caps begin, so this is advantageous for them. The sooner the rest are delivered, the cheaper PSA becomes for them. It costs a lot of money to bring on whatever AC it is, so you need a lot of the new type to make it worth it. Thirdly, we fly them at our negotiated rates we already had, which is a .03% increase per additional aircraft. No pay cut. Now, if you were affected by a cap or freeze, then that takes affect. Also, failing the interview once does not freeze your pay. Twice does. The fact that it freezes if you decline an offer is simply a business move on mainlines part to keep PSA young and cheap. Get them over there. By any logic, they are going to be less selective with PSA pilots so they can empty out top ranks and CONTINUE movement thus always keep pay longevity pay low. All that combined will move people along and over the next few years PSA will see a lot of movement.
The above are just two main theories. Neither is certain, and either could happen. I'm just pointing out what some people are ruining around here. Not trying to start a flame war. I am honestly trying to add to a conversation. The immature comments on this thread blow my mind.
I am again, simply showing two sides (very watered down) of opinions.

PM90 and sugar baby are too wound up only considering as to how this impacts the quantity of their glass and are unwilling or unable to accept that their actions have cracked the rest of the glasses.

For anyone that wants to have a discussion read my previous post. Writing like eaglefly continues to degrade my opinion of the eagle people on this forum.

Thanks for the immaturity. For those of you that want to READ my post, I was only throwing out the two opinions. I'm sorry eaglefly, I was only trying to talk civilly. Also, it's a lot different voting when it's your family, co workers, and multitudes of people affected by your vote. I am so disgusted with you and your fellow eagle trolls who refuse to talk but rather bully, that I'm beginning to think I'm glad we didn't "protect" you from anything. I have 0 respect for you.

Eaglefly doesn't work for AE, but I do. Don't give me this I have a family garbage. I have a family too and so does everyone else out there, but I would never throw my colleagues under the bus for my own selfish interests. If I lost my job for voting no to some crap proposal, then so be it. I would simply find a new job. I have self-worth and know I could find employment elsewhere. I keep hearing, "but the leases were going to be up on our planes in 2019 and they were threatening to shut us down." 2019? Are you f-ing kidding me? I have ZERO RESPECT for YOU!

So from what you're saying, you voted no to eagle concessions too then huh? I know I voted no for psa's TA. Amazing how 80 something percent of you voted yes to your concessions but nobody admits to it and now you're disrespecting a group that had 39% that really did risk their job and voted no. Not just talking like most of you did. For a group that had 80% voting in concessions, you're going to sit there and honestly tell me that had your MEC put it out for a vote that eagle guys will have a better percentile than psa's did??? Get real. And PSA did turn down bigger planes before. Where was the rest of the regionals with their support when we turned down bigger planes? Oh republic grew like crazy while stagnation at PSA with longer reserve times and less upgrades right? Loved the support my fellow colleagues. Despite all that, many of us voted no. You can call us all the names you want, but I'm proud of the 39% guys that stood strong. And I totally understand the 61% that voted yes.
And APC amazes me. my post that I wanted to conversate over like adults is now buried beneath scummy posts.
skyxbomb, the industry was never there for us when we voted down the airplanes in 05, and weren't there for us now either. EAGLE and PIEDMONT sure were there, to bully us and make sure we didn't "take their" airplanes. makes me laugh. my favorites are the idiots who said "we'll help you out if youre out of a job." well, I don't see your screen names on my mortgage, nor on a written agreement to give me the exact seniority at whichever airline hires me when PSA would have shut down. so no, youre not helping, youre just idiots trying to get PSA to bury their company in the ground. just cause we are owned by airways doesn't mean we have access to these magical profits they are having. we're just like everyone else.
I could go on, but in my world the bigger man is the one who is respectful. the posts on here have been disgusting. that's whats ruining the industry. those posting such flaming comment......youre worth nothing more then the scum on the bottom of my luggage wheels.
