Not just talking like most of you did. For a group that had 80% voting in concessions, you're going to sit there and honestly tell me that had your MEC put it out for a vote that eagle guys will have a better percentile than psa's did??? Get real. And PSA did turn down bigger planes before. Where was the rest of the regionals with their support when we turned down bigger planes? Oh republic grew like crazy while stagnation at PSA with longer reserve times and less upgrades right? Loved the support my fellow colleagues. Despite all that, many of us voted no. You can call us all the names you want, but I'm proud of the 39% guys that stood strong. And I totally understand the 61% that voted yes.
Before you continue to ramble on, go back and read my posts. I think you will clearly see how I voted. I am not here to make excuses, but get your facts straight, it was 75% and Eagle is to this day still under bankruptcy protections. Have you ever heard of section 1113 of the bankruptcy code? Google it, maybe you will learn something. I am not condoning Eagle's concessionary TA, but you show me one pilot group that hasn't taken concessions during bankruptcy. I think we did ok compared to Pinnacle. What PSA did was just sad to be polite.

skyxbomb, the industry was never there for us when we voted down the airplanes in 05, and weren't there for us now either. EAGLE and PIEDMONT sure were there, to bully us and make sure we didn't "take their" airplanes. makes me laugh. my favorites are the idiots who said "we'll help you out if youre out of a job." well, I don't see your screen names on my mortgage, nor on a written agreement to give me the exact seniority at whichever airline hires me when PSA would have shut down. so no, youre not helping, youre just idiots trying to get PSA to bury their company in the ground. just cause we are owned by airways doesn't mean we have access to these magical profits they are having. we're just like everyone else.

I could go on, but in my world the bigger man is the one who is respectful. the posts on here have been disgusting. that's whats ruining the industry. those posting such flaming comment......youre worth nothing more then the scum on the bottom of my luggage wheels.
Are you really that sensitive that you can't handle someone arguing against your position on a message board? Just do us all a favor and stay at PSA under your wonderful TA for the remainder of your career.

Prove to me that these extra airplanes are actually growth. And on the flip side of that prove to me that they are not growth. What I do know is that this entire TA is garbage. So now we get more planes on property and we are all forced to fill out an application by a certain date or we get pay frozen. No more 1% increase every April. Nothing. And if you fail two interviews, you get nothing. If you fail training and come back, you get nothing. And for what? A lousy interview at mainline? That is the most stupid thing I have ever seen. I am of the opinion that we will lose those 200's when the leases are up. No growth at all. Five less airframes when all is said and done. And as someone pointed out already, USAirways owns most of those 200's. So they can come to us at any time and take those away. So 2019 means nothing to me. And since our insurance goes up 6% over the next few years, those meager little 1% raises every April mean jack squat. I proudly voted no and would do it again in a heartbeat. As far as the rest of the regionals go, opinions are like a**holes. Everybody has one.

planes in 05? my memory is fuzzy on any planes being shopped around at that time
thought the j4j fiasco where toothe screwed us was earlier than that, as ALG was apparently the only one not doing back room dealing trying to get the planes psa ended up with

Sorry 75%. So in your opinion, would the same TA offered to PSA passed with eagle pilot group. Not the B scale that was offered to you guys but the masked B scale that Airways imposed on us. I for one think that it would've passed by higher than 61%.

The TA that PSA voted in would not have stood a chance at Eagle. Most of the people I fly with are fed up with management's lies.

12 year caps on CA pay and 4 year caps on FO pay - Enough Eagle people have been stuck where they are long enough to know better than to cap rates so low.

Preferential Interviews - we already have flow throughs at 20/month minimum

Pay frozen after your second failed interview - whatever jack wagon approved of that should be shot

Increases in healthcare costs - ummm no

1.75 per diem for 10 years - we are already at 1.80 and it goes up .05 a year for the remainder of our contract

1% pay increases every year - that doesn't even cover cost of living increases

I'm sure I left some things out. I'm sorry, but if this by some long shot passed at Eagle, my resignation would be in the mail and I'd be searching for a job elsewhere. As I would have lost all faith and respect for my pilot group.

I am looking to move on to the majors ASAP, just like I am sure you are. However, I intend on doing my best to make AE a better place to work before I leave. I will not sell out others in the process.

Not a chance and you know it.....Give me a break. There was some PSA guy on here threatening to quit if this thing passed too. Think he gave his notice last Friday?
I'm not defending this thing at all. However, A lot of you guys are way out of line, and I hope I never am stuck in the flightdeck for 4 days with any of you.

That being said. No one here at PSA was voting yes either and then magically it passed. I'd be willing to bet this thing would pass at around the same margin at Eagle as it did at PSA.

These type of things get through because of lack of education. They hear through the grapevine that "If this fails we get shutdown" and go vote yes. They generally know nothing about the history or even the present of this industry.

The next few times you fly. Write a random list of regional airlines down.....maybe 3. Then ask that person what equipment they operate and to name ONE crew base. I bet you 1 out of 2 cannot do it.
