Your assumption that only the MEC knows what was offered could not be more incorrect. I know a great number of pilots spoke to their rep. and made it quite clear that a B scale was not acceptable. And during such calls the union reps. made it quite clear what they were dealing with. This was in no way breaking any NDA that they might of signed. I can attest to this first hand, seeing as how I spoke with a MEC representative at some length prior to them ever voting to turn it down. The pilot group as a whole was active and vocal during such time.
Meyers, your whole argument is pure speculation and I suggest to go back and reread the statement of the person your trying to pick apart. You could not be farther from the truth.

Whoa whoa whoa ... 1st of all there's a huge difference between what PSA is being offered and what Eagle was offered. Eagle pilots were offered a guaranteed flow for 5 extra slots at AA or US per month. A total of 25 slots. 60 airframes. No pay cuts at all for anyone on property. A choice to flow to USairways or AA. Basically for most people it would have benefitted them and is the only reason it could have passed. The only people that would have suffered would have been future new hires. The PSA proposal is a whole different ball of wax. Complete garbage and I would be surprised if PSA pilots vote this in. Other than some new AC I see nothing offered worth voting on. Get turned down on the 2nd interview and your pay is frozen? That stinks.
Our officers decided to draw a line in the sand. I'm not taking up for the two that voted for it but they said they were against it and only voting to send it to the pilots not necessarily supporting it. There is a difference.

It's absolutely NOT okay to screw them over and NO ONE ever said it was. Hence the reason it was voted down by the MEC. And there has not been a single person I've talked to at Eagle even attempt to justify a B scale.

It's not speculation. Between the booze scandal and offering B-scale for jobs to USAirways, the Eagle MEC are a bunch of scum bags.

I'm not sticking up for them any further that what they did to vote this most recent TA down. I'm not applauding their actions overall just that most of them had the sense to vote it down.

There's no point in arguing with Meyers. He was a yes voter before the details were even released. He's got sjs and will justify it the best he can. He's gonna play games with the definition of scab and all sorts of crap to avoid the real issue of concessions to a profitable company.

Because when you vote yes for those sweet big new airplanes, you are essentially admitting to management you think you are currently over compensated. Thus, my management feels the same way about me and will result decreased pay for me. You are taking money out of my wallet and away from my family. I don't like people who do that. That's why we can't get along.

I don't mind debating with you but you aren't really making any sense .
It seems you don't understand the basics of what is going on here.
