Breaking News:
A little birdie told me from a very legitimate source that the America West CRJ-900s operated by Mesa Airlines are going to be flown by PSA Airlines for US Airways. Supposedly they are still negotiating the deal with some third party vendors and the biggest issue is staffing at PSA Airlines. As far as financing and money goes US Airways has made it through the winter with excess cash in hand.
Also if you check the Piedmont threads you can see Piedmont is pretty much guaranteed to be headed to Phoenix in 2010 as well. They have the assets to make it happen right now and Piedmont management has confirmed plans to go into Phoenix.

I would hope you are right... The thing is at PSA we are so use to "Nothing good happens at PSA" that it is very hard to believe.... I just recently also have heard the same about PDT and what not opening a PHX base pretty soon. But again all rumors that cannot be supported with any evidence behind it

. But the fact that the little birdie told you makes it very questionable... Although if you could capture that birdie you and I both can quit and make a lot of money off of a talking birdie with insider information!!!!

Sorry, but I'm going to go ahead and call this bullcrap right now. It's obvious you don't know this company very well. If you did, you'd know this was impossible because well, as Meyers said, nothing good ever happens at PSA. Now if your source told you PSA was shutting down tomorrow, that I might believe.

. Either way man, I hope it's true but I AM going to be a debbie downer for this one because that news is WAY out of left field especially considering the chief pilot doesn't know squat and the schedulers are still trying to cram ELOA down the throats of the pilots. For all the furloughed sakes I hope it's true.
