Yes, but TG and many of his team are being replaced. This email is a complete reversal of his previous disposition.

you're laughing at his B scale proposal but you're voting YES for this TA, which includes a back door B scale!

Tony and AE is the reason any of this is being discussed. He put the damn bug in managements ear now you all have forgotten he's the start of it? Hypocritical at the very least of him. Hope your new Chairman has better traits.

How many mouth breathers will look at this and say "Whew! At least I'm not taking a paycut!"?

Look. I'm a PSA pilot. Instead of name calling and bickering. Say something useful. I'm trying to educate my colleagues about this. Calling someone weak or a fool isn't going to help us squash this thing.
It's an aweful agreement. But people need to know why. Not just that its bad. Understand?
So read it. Put in your $.02. It will affect every regional pilot in the USA.

It will affect every pilot, not just regionals. And Meyers, I agree about Tony but the concession negotiations were coming wether Tony brought up the B scale or not, Mesa will get US Airway's concessions negotiations next whether you vote yes or no they will just have different starting points. Currently management can only say the have to be able to compete with Delta and Pinnacle, if a pilot group agrees to an agreement like this they will have much more ammunition. Pinnacle is on and island and Mesa is trying to further themselves from it, if this passes PSA will join the Pinnacle ranks and Mesa will be starring and US Airways inviting them to the island. This has huge ramifications for all of us, please educate yourself folks on what your management team is attempting to accomplish here.

He didn't put anything in Parker's ear, they've been looking for easy prey for awhile. Have they found it in PSA pilots ?

The jury is still out.

Personally, I think Parker is leaving money on the table when it comes to pilots like you. I'll bet he could not only hook you for $45,000/years as maximum compensation, you'd be on this forum rationalizing the imbecilic to the rest of us if he did.

That is of course assuming you're not a management stooge specifically here to blow smoke up the gullible and uninformeds arses. ;-)

Is it just me or isn't he the only one here defending this thing, I like the argument about guys that "could" upgrade if the happen to be growth airframes. Or the senior guys saving their 100k a year job. If they allow this TA to happen and bring a 12 year pay scale by 2016 they will be working under the 12 year scale even if they are currently 18. People need to not only become familiar with their contracts but hose around them and there are many contracts out there that will be influence by this TA if it is to pass and shortly management will come back as the 200 are parked asking for more.

Passing this TA is allowing the race to the bottom to continue, this is modifying a scale for certain pilots that will lead everyone on property being under the same scale.

Management already told Eagle they will be back, it will happen sometime after Mesa, and guess what PSA will get another bite at the apple, it's a chain that has to be broken.
