That's ALL you can come back with, "My pay and benefits are great so I don't see a problem". Who is living in a false reality here?? You PSA'ers KNOW you undercut us, you KNOW you are perpetuating the whipsaw and empowering management to harass other work groups for concessions, but hey, your pay is good! People with that logic have no morals whatsoever. Then they wonder why no one respects them. Don't try to pull the "I'm new and wasn't a party to that whole thing" routine either. You knew their background and what's more, you're defending it. There's an oxymoron if I ever saw one. |

Who took concessions and PBS again? You could only hope that you could negotiate a contract that has SAP and critical coverage pay that works like ours. What you are probably getting offered a version of our contract minus the key components that make it work. There is truly nothing that compares to it and I hope one day you guys are capable of comprehending what we have. All we needed was new planes to guarantee a future so we can take full advantage of the QOL and pay SAP/CCP provide. So far, it appears that we're playing chess and you guys are playing checkers. |

At least you admit that as long as your pilot group is happy, you'd be happy to sell the rest of us up the creek. There's a reason why this profession is in the state that it is and you can look in the mirror for the reason why. |

Whatever ridiculous analogy you want to use to help you sleep at night, that's fine. The fact, there was an impending shortage of labor at the regional level. When your sister subsidiary rejected concessions for airplanes, instead of letting this shortage play out like it is doing now, you folded like a house of cards.

No, actually in this case it's not one. But then you already knew that...
How can our pay be good and also used to whipsaw other carriers at the same time? |

I don't know what he's talking about nor do I care do sift through your banter; however, I have an answer. If take a contract that is a raise for you but still below your sister company and was signed in order to get airplanes, you in fact, have undercut them.
Our pilot's pay is not below eagle's. I know you guys don't believe that but it's true, even with the 12/4. This can go back and forth all you want. Fact is we have more QoL, and earning potential than Eagle. Keep focusing on pay rates and we will keep proving they aren't everything. |
