People with that logic have no morals whatsoever. Then they wonder why no one respects them. Don't try to pull the "I'm new and wasn't a party to that whole thing" routine either. You knew their background and what's more, you're defending it.

What you are probably getting offered a version of our contract minus the key components that make it work.
