Are you telling me that I should avoid my first choice of regional (domicile, QoL, morale, etc...) because of a vote that happened months (years?) before I ever dropped an application?

Doesn't make sense... Am I missing something?

...I assume our men/women who serve possess integrity but unfortunately, that is not valued as much in the "real" world. people who hold onto these values unfortunately finish lasts!!!

Spoken like a true back stabber.

And there you have it. Go to PSA and you will be working alongside morally devoid fools like this.

Get into a situation where you need the union to have your back? Probably not gonna happen there. You can't trust these people, as pilots from any other regional will tell you. If the company were to approach their union for more concessions, they will invariably agree to them... and ask how much they get to pay to shine the CEO's knob in the process. It's how they work.

Dear lord you guys are freakin' relentless.

You act like PSA agreed to fly airplanes for free.

A capped captain at PSA has the same earning power as an 18yr captain at Eagle due to work rules. On top of that they will have more flexibility, and therefore, more QoL.

Keep thinking that isn't true. Fact is if your union offered a carbon copy of PSA's contract to AAG it would immediately be rejected.

JT8D is a permanent eagle fo. I really don't think anyone should give **** about his/her opinion.

You idiots think you exist in a vacuum. You keep ignoring the fact that you knowingly undercut us to get shiny airplanes. Such actions have repercussions.

Our union is not so idiotic as to offer a PSA based concessionary proposal to the company during a time of an industry wide pay shortage. In ten years your pilots will be the lowest paid bottom feeders in the industry.

Not by a long shot. It's cute the way you cowards all have your little circle jerkathon when people start calling you out.

Neither you nor I are qualified in the complexities of pricing labor contracts. Jerry Glass is though, and he is STILL desperately putting a ton of wasted effort into trying to whittle our agreement down. Has he been knocking on your door since you capitulated to him on your first round?

Exactly...I just think if AAG needs more concessions later down the road, they know where to go.
