Not defending management in any way at all, but LCAs aren't exactly line pilots. They become more or less management pilots. So there are some things they do have to sacrifice to be able to carry the LCA tag.
On another note, make these poll threads is pretty pointless. Most of the people checking yes or no have nothing to do with the airlines these are made for, making them very inaccurate and useless.

Apparently now the NC is seeking clarification on the displacement language from the company... AFTER THE TA HAS BEEN SENT FOR A VOTE. What a clown show this place is. I mean seriously, how was that not something you addressed when you were negotiating to begin with? And it's not like it was a recent revelation. Pilots were pointing out the grey language a week or two ago. Unbelievable.

Of course they are. The average notification until we started negotiating this TA (June ish) was 2-3 days. Locking anyone's schedule is not in the contract, that's why it's in writing now. Past practice is not what was written in though.

I guess you guys that have been here for 6 months did not want to answer my direct question......
Anyway: There is nothing in the contract right now that prohibits the company from displacing a pilot AT ALL. If they want the could displace you right after the final award. This agreement puts a cap on it. It's not ideal but it's BETTER than what we have now.
I'll ask another question that you guys probably will not answer......if we vote no do you think the company will just say "well, guess we have to wait until 48 hours before now." You all know how that scenario will play out.
What exactly are you voting no for?
