I was in the ATP-CTP class and we were told the same also, 24th and 25th off. They said there will be a dinner on Sunday for anyone that is staying. Looks like X-mass in Dayton for me!!

It does suck, but you will most likely be a line holder by this time next year and not have to work Christmas again. At most companies, only the top few percent get holidays off. At PSA, any line holder can get christmas off.

Yes it will be.

Get in and get as many people behind you as quickly as possible. Less time on reserve, faster upgrade, and sooner flow if you stick around that long.

A question for the new hires, how long prior to your class date did they start sending out study material?

I interviewed in late Oct and was hired for a Jan class, but my last correspondence with anyone was early Nov and I'm starting to get worried. I've e-mailed a couple of people and placed calls with no response.

I know people have had success in getting quick responses with: [email protected]

Recruiting is very busy right now, but that is not an excuse for people not getting back to you. If you can't get a response with that email, there are people on here that can usually help get you a response fairly quickly.

I am not sure how far in advance they are sending out study materials, but I would expect it soon if you have a class in January.

At the interview, they told us they email the study material about two weeks before your class date.

I received my study material about 10 days prior to class. If you want an early look at it I can send it over.

Thanks everyone for the xmas travel info. Its not the end of the world to come up with a few hundred bucks (use some of the signing bonus), just bummed we were told one thing in the interview and found out a little late to the contrary.

Looks like I'll risk my life and buy a ticket on allegiant home for the holidays.
