Carry a backpack? What kind? Unprofessional?

Years ago, I was playing Pictionary with my girlfriend early in our relationship. She started drawing a man with a short sleeved shirt, a tie, and a pen in his pocket, so I blurted out, "A pilot!" She proceeded to laugh as she told me that her word was "nerd." That was the last day that either of us ever thought pilots were cool.

Here's hoping you dumped her. Any girl that doesn't think pilots are cool isn't worth having. Shame on her!!

Black backpack hooked to the roller board w carabiners is what I do. Have done for a while and it works the best of any others I've tried. I wear size 13.5 shoes so that takes too much room in my rollerboard for long trips. (I refuse to be that guy w the stretched stealth that doesn't fit all the time. maybe I should carry a briefcase in the other hand to more professional. Or maybe brief case w bungy cords wrapped around the bag. Look it's black and white in everyone's manuals. But if you go rouge don't half ass it. Don't be that dude that tells everyone "Idon't wear the hat cause f that policy!" But its packed in a zipper somewhere ready to be donned faster than the O2

Agreed! I've trotted all over the globe with just one of those along with me and more than enough room to keep me on the road for as long as I care to be. That said, I wouldn't use it for work. I think the roll aboards are great and I'll always be using one for work trips.
