All F/O's at Mesaba are paid the same regardless of equipment (15-76 seats).

The payrates I am posting below DO NOT include longevity increases, nor any of the "kickers" that are in the TA.

...........SF3 CA CR9 CA ALL FO
Year 1: $41.89 $57.21 $22.81
Year 2: $43.55 $58.94 $27.35
Year 3: $44.33 $60.71 $30.03
Year 4: $46.48 $62.52 $32.71
Year 5: $48.68 $64.39 $33.68
Year 6: $50.69 $66.33 $34.69
Year 7: $52.57 $68.32 $35.73
Year 8: $53.59 $70.37 $36.80
Year 9: $55.05 $72.48 $36.80
Year 10:$56.49 $74.66 $36.80

Approx how long would upgrade take on either airplane? Those F/O payrates are extremely low!

Mesaba has been traditionally a 4-6 year upgrade. Right now, we are in a growth mode, so upgrade times are reduced. Our most junior captain right now has been here 8 years. By the end of 2008, all the existing pilots should have had the OPPORTUNITY to upgrade, so a junior captain could be 3 years longevity. The most junior pilot on our list today in Fall 05 hire date. The first few classes of new hires have the potential to see 18 month upgrade times IF all continues as it is today...

Do you need to have your paperwork walked in by anyone? I have just under 700 tt and 85 multi and live in Memphis and would give serious consideration to applying.

You do not need a walk in. Submit your online application and attach your resume via www.mesaba.com

Got a call for an interview today after submitting the application Fri. night. No walk in (everybody I knew that went there got furloughed and found other jobs). She said they were interviewing this Wed. and Thurs., as well as the following two Wednesdays.

PDX? Try horizon or SKW. Not sure why you'd be interested in AWAC...if you're from the northwest, you won't enjoy PHL. Trust me.

Jobs are limited in the NW. QXE is the only game. SKW junior bases are ORD and SLC. I know I will have to move and am looking at commuters that I have heard good things about. I do like the midwest. Looking for short reserve times, I do not mind waiting for upgrade, do not want a company that sees themselves as a "Pilot Mill". My next job may be my last, I am not young. First year pay is stiff with SKW and I am concerned about that. Most of all a quality of life. No schedule can be worse than what I am doing now!
