I agree with most of the points. Nothing irritates me more than a CA that is making 100K+ and looks like a complete slob. Wipe that yogurt off your tie!

As for shaving, perhaps that individual had a rough night at a crap hotel and overslept.

Just look at the pilots from many other countries, especially the European countries, they always look their best at all times.

Some of us can't help being big boned- so back off that point. But I agree with the rest of the post. I saw an FO in IAH the other day strolling through the E Concourse with his Oakleys on, listening to an Ipod. He even had the surfer hairdo. It's a sad thing that our profession has been overrun by people with such little self respect.

Didn't know us surfers had a 'hairdo'... I Keep mine bic'd - hope that isn't offensive. God forbid a pax finds out I surf on my offtime..
